How could he? Cain and Lamech

I am so sad for Cain and Abel's story. Because I just learned that there was another that was worse than not his brother's keep. And that was Lamech. :'(

He killed Enoch (the prophet's) son, because of secret combination [according to the book of Moses, fifth chapter.

It makes me extremely Sad. Are tattle tellers meant to pass away. I don't think so. So this is very hard for me to read about in the book. Realization of these things are difficult to fathom, and why did I not see this before; not sure, but I know now. Two Songs in dedication of the first person sacrificed. And for all those in between. Thanks be to God that we have him below us, to lift us to the highest heights.

1. Savior, may I learn to love thee,

Walk the path that thou hast shown,
Pause to help and lift another,

Finding strength beyond my own.
Savior, may I learn to love thee--

(Chorus)
Lord, I would follow thee.

2. Who am I to judge another
When I walk imperfectly?
In the quiet heart is hidden
Sorrow that the eye can't see.
Who am I to judge another?
Lord, I would follow thee.

3. I would be my brother's keeper;
I would learn the healer's art.
To the wounded and the weary
I would show a gentle heart.
I would be my brother's keeper--
Lord, I would follow thee.

4. Savior, may I love my brother
As I know thou lovest me,
Find in thee my strength, my beacon,
For thy servant I would be.
Savior, may I love my brother--
Lord, I would follow thee.

2. Enoch was a prophet; he taught what was good.
People in his city did just what they should.
When they were so righteous that there was no sin,
Heav’nly Father took them up to live with him.

Follow the prophet, follow the prophet,
Follow the prophet; don’t go astray.
Follow the prophet, follow the prophet,
Follow the prophet; he knows the way.

Answers to Gospel Questions?: According to John -- Polygamy -- Book 1

I wanted to fashion my answers to Gospel Questions after Joseph Fielding Smith's book about Answering Gospel Questions. I'll find the title. Except, that he is so good at answering questions with so little doubt involved. Like, if I am to do this like him, I would not be able to ask any questions, no matter what, and that's not fair with some of his questions. Which is why I'll ask questions about stuff related to me and my own life and my testimony and my Gospel knowledge. A mixture of the two. You can't have knowledge without faith in the thing. What do I mean? Well, in order to believe in math (I have a lot of non-gospel knowledge about the sciences) you gotta believe/have faith that the thing exists, that it works, and many other things, like that the old guys that created counting actually knew what they were doing. Let me give you an example. a^2+b^2=c^2 How does this formula work and what the heck is this formula. This is the Pythagorean Theorem. ...
